NAFOOM Flickr Group - Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Flickr?

via Flickr FAQ Page

Flickr is the best way to store, sort, search and share your photos online. There is a huge mass of photos in the world, and Flickr provides a way to organize yours, and for you and your friends and family to tell your stories about them.

The best way to learn about it is to upload some photos, explore the site, join some groups and make some friends. There is more information about Flickr and who is responsible on our About Page.

How Do I Add Photos to a Flickr Group?

via Flickr FAQ Page

Easy! If you belong to the group, just add your photo to the group pool (if not, join the group first, because only members of a group can contribute to the group pool).

The easiest way add a photo to a group is to go to the photo's page, and click on the "Send to Group" button that you should see between the photo title and the photo itself. Click that, then choose the group you want to send it to, and you're done!

Once a photo is in a group pool, only you and the group adminstrators can remove it.

Note: If you share a photo that you've marked as private with a group you are a member of, it's as if other members of the group have full access to that photo. This means they will be able to add comments, notes and tags. The photo won't show for people who aren't members of the group though.

What Kind Of Photos Should I Add?

Add anything, so long as they're Ole Miss related. Pictures of you and/or other NAFOOM members in the Grove, or drunk off your ass in the Student Section of Vaught Hemingway, smoking Marlboro Lights and swaying as you try to focus on what looks to be a football game below you. Or in the outfield at the baseball field, drunk off your ass, smoking Marlboro Lights and swaying as you try to focus on what looks to be a baseball game below you. The only rule is no babes of the day, or other types of photos (i.e., porn), leave those for the message board. However, hot amateur Ole Miss talent is by no means off limits.
